Between the 30 and 3st of May 2024 the 1st Scientific conferences on Amazonian studies were held in Madrid’s Museo de América as a collaboration between the Museum, the Universidad de Alcalá and the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. The focus of these first conferences was interdisciplinarity and methodological approaches, aiming to create a space for commination and networking between different investigations carried out in the Amazon.
Umberto Lombardo attended as DEMODRIVERS PI and held out a conference on plant domestication and agriculture in the southwest of the Amazon.
