Between 7 and 10 April 2026, the DEMODRIVERS group took part in the “Transformations Conference” (Groningen, Netherlands), which focused on changes in climate, landscape, ecology, human subsistence and cultures during the Mesolithic and Neolithic.
In the ‘Use of space’ section, Dr Umberto Lombardo participated as a keynote speaker with the presentation “10k years of landscape engineering in the Bolivian Amazon”.
Following this, Albert Gaitán presented a speech titled “Quantifying Pre-Agricultural Anthrosols and Legacy Effects on Biodiversity in the Bolivian Amazon”.
